A little about us:

We’re a husband and wife team passionate about making inclusive tasty treats that everyone can enjoy.

We home educate our 2 kids aged 11 and 9 and we are neurodiverse introverts that enjoy nature walks, cooking, exploring, photography, reading, playing games, baking, gardening, learning and playing with our kids. 

We both have experience working in hospitality and we have been together since 2004.

When Jason lost his full-time job unexpectedly, we decided to start our own business so that we can also be together each day as a family.

Why we started Vegan Joy:

We believe that people on a different diet or those with allergies shouldn’t miss out on delicious sweet treats, but often they do or they only have one option to choose from. 

Our items can be enjoyed by anyone and we welcome everyone, because no one should be excluded when it comes to yummy treats.

Many of our customers are not actually vegan, but they’ve been willing to try our items and have loved them!

We also have customers who have dairy, egg and/or nut allergies and some come to us for gluten-free items, although they are just gluten free by ingredient.
